4 years ago today my Dad passed away....
Woke up this morning to the song,"My little girl" by Tim McGraw....the part where he sings about 'she had me wrapped around her pinky from the day she was born' had me bawling like a baby....right up until the last days my Dad was in the hospital, he had to introduce me to all the docs and nurses and tell them that same line.....Can't believe it's been 4 years. I miss him something awful....

I miss mine too! I was the youngest of four kids and the only girl ... like you!! Definitely a Daddy's girl!
I so understand. July 11th was my daddy's birthday and it was just an ache that won't go away. He passed away three years ago in August. My heart reaches out to yours. Wouldn't it be fun uf we all four got to do something fun in heaven?
sorry amy...i lost my dad about 20 years ago and it was soooo hard. i was with him when he died at the hospital and it was just plain sad.

I feel your sorrow, my dad passed away one year and 3 months ago on this day. It seems so long ago...your dad looked very fun and sweet!
You just never stop missing them do you? My gram has been "gone" 9 years now. Just a couple weeks ago I heard a song on the radio that we used to sing together and it really made me cry. Music does bring such strong memories. Hope you feeling brighter today....
