 And yes, I used my hot glue gun, can you believe it!!! It turned out prettier than I imagined and the fabric is stronger than heck all the way around. The only removable part is the bed skirt on the seat cushions. I thought I should have the part that is most worn available to wash and wear. I had a blast and cannot wait to get to my next one. I have 2 of these and will be sure to take before pictures. 

AMAZING WHAT HOT GLUE CAN DO!!!!

 I used old lace, new lace and the best stuff was cut up from bed skirts I have picked up along the way. It took longer to wash, dry and iron the lace and fabrics from old tablecloths than to actually do the work. I had a blast, don't be afraid to try it!!!!

Stella is GROWING!!!!

I cannot believe that my GrandBaby Stella is 3 months old. I have yet to meet her :( I keep thinking soon....very soon I will get to hold her in my arms. She is growing and gaining weight like crazy and looking at her you would never know she was 5 weeks early. Kristi and Chase are doing such an awesome job with her.

~SHE'S HERE~ 4 WEEKS EARLY~

Stella came as a BIG surprise yesterday at 2:25pm Thursday Feb 23, 2012

She is 4 weeks early but PERFECT!!!! Weighing in at 5 pounds 12 ounces, 18 inches long and lots of curly hair (reddish brown). She looks like her Mommy Kristi and has her Daddy Chase chin. Right away they noticed she has her Aunt Alli's long feet and toes.

SHE IS BEAUTIFUL....Mom and Baby are doing great with no neonatal or problems with the delivery or anything afterwards.

Cannot wait to meet her in person and smell that sweet baby smell again.

GOD IS GOOD!!!! So happy he kept me alive thru cancer so I could savor these beautiful moments.

A DOLL HOUSE????

So last night I couldn't sleep and dreaming of how I am going to decorate my new home.

I'm in the house, not all unpacked but I have nothing but time to decorate. (working so much that the decorating has to wait for the weekends)

AND I am trying to fall asleep and knowing that I've ALWAYS WANTED A WHITE AND PINK HOUSE....

I sat up in bed and thought.....I WILL PAINT THE DOOR, THE SHUTTERS, THE DECK and my cutie STORAGE SHED PINK!!!!!

WHOOT WHOOT!!!! Looks like I will have my "DOLL HOUSE" after all!!!!

It's been since JANUARY that I have seen my Alli girl....she headed to Boot Camp at Fort Jackson, South Carolina....then straight to Combat Medic School at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.....

I MISS HER SOOOOO MUCH!!!

Tomorrow she GRADUATES as a Combat Medic in the US Army and was HAND PICKED by her superiors to go onto AIRBORNE RANGER SCHOOL!!!! She is so excited as she is my daredevil fearless daughter.

Not sure when I will get to see her....makes me sad and at the same time, she makes me so PROUD!!!!

All I can say is.... HOOAH!!!!

GRANDMA TO BE!!!! THAT'S ME!!!!

That's right.....I'm gonna be a Grandma!!!! I AM SOOOO BLESSED that Kristi and Chase are expecting in March....WOW!!!! I am truly blessed to be alive to be able to see and hold my first Grandchild....OH BABY!!!! What fun this will be!!!! THANK YOU GOD!!!!!
