This week Tuesday June 12th was his birthday....also the first year without him for his birthday.

And Yesterday marked 11 months since he passed....I literally watched him die of CANCER....I HATE THAT WORD!!! I never left his side for the last 3 days....Crazy what happens in a year....

I MISS HIM SOMETHING AWFUL!!!

Love you Daddy, Can't wait to see you again.....Love, (the only girl who was wrapped around your finger) Amy

Amy, What a wonderful tribute to your Father! I love the photos. I know how much you miss him, I understand. Father days are sad now that we do not have these great Men in our lives.
Take care ~Mary~ :-}

I am soooo glad you are on the road to Wellville.With 4 daughters while you are resting, I think I would be requesting manicures pedicures and foot rubs!!!!And if they protest you can play the old Mommy guilt card"I carried you for nine months and kissed your boo boos.... etc"."HeHe" I wish that you lived closer I would bring you lunch!

Love the photos of your Dad~ and I'm sorry for your loss. I know how you are feeling on this Father's Day. This is the second Father's Day without my Daddy. I watched my Daddy died of cancer as well. I will think about my Daddy every day of my life until I join him in heaven! I miss him more than I can say...

What a sweet tribute to your dad. I love the childhood picture of him on the tractor, and both pictures of your parents together. I lost both my parents to cancer several years ago. I hate it, too.

OH Amy, I'm here to tell you that it doesn't get easier any time soon. My Dad died in 1999, and it is STILL HARD to deal with. I visited him yesterday and brought a beautiful wreath of pink geraniums for his headstone. I like to go by myself so that I can just "be there", you know??! Your Dad's strength will help get you through the rough time ahead. Keep the faith, my friend. . . . xoxoxoxoxo
