~WHY I SHOULDN'T CRAFT!~

~ABOVE ARE THE DARLING BUTTON BOUQUETS from VINTAGE SUE'S BOX TREASURES~

~So, for a long time I have been putting off making BUTTON BOUQUETS. I was over at Vintage Sue's Box Treasures and saw her post of the DARLING Button Bouquets that she did. It INSPIRED ME TO GET IT DONE and well, LOL....this is how mine turned out!!!!~

~I USED VINTAGE RHINESTONE and PINK PEARL BUTTONS. Then USED VINTAGE PIPE CLEANERS, since I didn't have wire~

~And well, there you have it.....

THEY TURNED OUT LOOKING NOTHING LIKE SUE'S and so, this is why I don't craft, do altered art, and am AFRAID TO LEARN TO SEW....I think you have to have it in your blood to be able to take something simply and make it BEAUTIFUL!!! At least I can say I tried.

Next time I will just buy them.....LOL~

Here's to some days to myself again.....and I am FEELING LIKE MYSELF AGAIN....just gonna get another shot in my neck for my herniated disks that are affecting my arm soooo happy they finally got that figured out!

I'm not taking naps everyday now and you have no idea how great that feels....

~WHERE DID THE SUMMER GO????~ ~This picture was taken in early June, right after school got out for the summer. Kristi got to visit for a few days before going back to Florida for the Army. Maddi and Alex got new baby farm kittens and the love em!!~

Alex and Alli start school next week (pictured Left to Right). Kristi is back home (in Florida) after spending the summer helping build a hospital in St. Croix with the Army. And Miss Maddi is starting school tomorrow in the 3rd grade. HOLY COW, seems like yesterday I took these pictures and now it's the middle of August. I don't remember summer vacation going this fast as a kid....LOL

~IMAGINE MY SURPRISE WHEN DAYS LATER I LOOKED IT OVER GOOD AND FOUND THE BRASS PLATE "HEYWOOD WAKEFIELD" ON THE BACK COVERED BY PAINT~

~CAN'T WAIT TO CLEAN IT UP, HAVE BOB FIX THE TRAY AND PAINT IT, of course, PINK~

~FOR NOW, THEY WILL SIT IN THE SHOP TO KEEP ME COMPANY~

~LOVE LOOKING OVER AT THEM AND SEEING THOSE SWEET FACES....THEY MAKE ME SMILE~

~I FOUND HER in SOUTH DAKOTA, JUST LIKE THIS...SHE ALMOST 30 INCHES LONG and a CHUBBY SWEET BABY DOLL~

~THIS ONE I HAD BUT FOUND THE DRESS IN MT. VERNON IOWA~
