~MORE MEDICINE~

Well, my mouth is getting so bad that it is making me shake with pain. The $150.00 medicine rinse I got yesterday is making it worst. It doesn't help that my teeth are trashed due to the fact that I took dylatin for so many years when I had epilepsy as a child so the rinse is making my teeth hurt to the bone. So, off to Walgreen's I go to get even more medicine for my mouth. I am at my low point of my blood count and energy (10 to 14 days post chemo) so this is also a big reason why my mouth is giving me fits. At least I am not running a temp like last time.

BUT STILL....CHEMO SUCKS!!! And that's all I have to say about that!!!!

Huge Cyber hugs for you ((((((((((((AMY))))))))))))))))♥

Sorry you have to go through all this dear. Is there anything around the house that would help with the mouth sores? IE baking soda etc?? I know nothing about this sorta stuff.

Get better soon
Love ya ♥♥

Hiya Amy,
YES..Chemo sucks. Been there, done that. BUT...you are doing such a "fantabulous" job of handling it. Keep it up! You are an inspiration for so many women and such a blessing to us all:)
Hugs dear one,

AMY, I'VE BEEN THERE, I'M A 2 YEAR SURVIVOR OF BREAST CANCER. TRY VITAMIN B12 (SUBLINGUAL?)THE KIND THAT DISSOLVE IN YOUR MOUTH. PLACE THEM IN YOUR MOUTH AND MOVE THEM AROUND ON ALL YOUR MOUTH SORES, LET THEM DISSOLVE. THEY DON'T TASTE BAD AND IT WILL HEAL THEM. I USED THIS EVERYDAY, IT WORKED FOR ME!

Amy, My best friends dad had the same mouth problems finally they gave him something after he lost 20lbs cause he couldn't eat! My Mom didn't work with the wash either, they gave her pills to re-establish good bacteria in her mouth. Let me know if you'd like me to find out exactly what it is that he had. Also try toothpaste for sensative teeth. Love, Lori

Oh Father, heal her and take her pain! Amy, I'll be praying for you tonight each time that I wake (which is often as I have a bladder disease and refuse to give up my Diet Pepsi). -Polly

Amy I am just getting introduced to you by way of Laylee!
I wish you much strength and courage as you complete this journey.
I am a survivor of breast cancer..diagnosed in 2004...my treatment was lumpectomy and 30 rounds of radiation. I begain blogging as a way to look and talk about nature and my garden which calms me and seems to be my place of respite.

I have had many cancer patients come in and look at images I post and hold onto them in their minds while they recieve treatment.

When I was having my radiation I would always hold a beautiful image in my mind and will the bad cells away. Stay strong and postive see you on ~solid ground~!
We are ~sisters now~...see my post ~Solid Ground~ Mar/o6 Hugs and prayers from me to you NG

Amy ~ So sorry to hear about the mouth pain. When we cared for my grandpa during his chemo in 1997 we were told to give him baby orajel or let baby aspirins dissolve and smooth over the areas. There was also a kind of fruit flavored gel you can get but I'm sorry I don't remember the name. Don't know if you've tried these things or if your doctors would reccommend any but thought I'd pass along. I do remember to that we had to keep replacing his toothbrushes to prevent infection. You probably already know all of this. Thank you for your prayers. Rather than make this a book I'm going to add a blog on Angie's site with a relaxation technique. Keep your chin up girl...you've come a long way and we're all praying for you. Hugs ~ Susie
