~MORE Pictures of Living Room Re-do~

~Still working on it and having a blast~

~I was trying to take these pictures around Bob watching "Flip this House" before the football games started today. I wanted to paint the benches white but thinking I might just keep them in that "Pitter Patter Aqua" just in case I want to add pink and aqua later on....we will see~
~That BARE WHITE WALL is NEXT.....I CANNOT WAIT for the kids to get back to school next week and then I can play some more...will of course, show pictures of what I decide to do~

~I am seriously thinking of adding some lace to the big picture windows that are 9 feet across. We have two of them, one to the North and one to the South as I love the light pouring in during the day and we are far enough from the highway that no one can tell, there are no curtains or shades.... oh, the possibilities~

Hope you are enjoying your FIRST DAY OF 2011!!!!
Hugs and Love, Amy

Hi Amy! It's looking so beautiful!!! I love all the pretty white and I would definitely leave the aqua on the benches, but I'm biased because I love aqua! I love the baby dolls and the old cupboard and the shelf with old wooden brackets! And those vintage mirrors are wonderful! Is there anything so fun as fluffing your nest? Have fun!
Hugs,
Michelle

Those are some old dolls there in that baby basket a really cute idea to display them in this manner. We don't have curtains on our big windows as there is really no one out there and we need the light and open feeling, I don't like a closed in feeling to a room, but I live in a different situation here with short days so all of the windows help with cabin fever. Will be interested to see what you come up with next.

'Amy, your living room is beautiful and very cozy. I would hibernate in that room and never want to leave it. My rooms are all dark, but painting is in the planning this spring. You did a wonderful job and I love everything. I have so much stuff packed away that it will be fun to do a change also. Happy New Year. Love and hugs, Pat

Amy, your room is BEAUTIFUL! I have been a fan of this style ever since finding the blog Min Lil Veranda three years ago. The Swedish look has finally hit hard here in the states and I love it so much. So serene, crisp and interesting. LOVE your dress forms!! I have one just like the one standing on the ground. Got it for 25.00 at a garage sale!

Great job!
love ya,
b.
