~A GIVEAWAY & 100's of NEW TREASURES @ FourSistersInACottage.com~

~A FUN FALL GIVEAWAY~ EVERYTHING you see in these 2 pictures are going to be given away to ONE LUCKY WINNER....Just leave a comment on this post and I will add you to the drawing. I will hold it the 1st FRIDAY of OCTOBER. EVERYONE, including those overseas ARE WELCOME TO ENTER. If you can't leave a comment or don't have a blog, feel free to email me and put DRAWING in the subject heading WITH your address in it. It's a bunch of stuff I was messing around with on my computer, some Halloween ribbon and a few other fun things, all paper stuff you can mess around with when you get it. HAVE FUN!!!!

AND.....DRUM ROLL PLEASE....I Have listed 100's, YES HUNDREDS of New Treasures on the website @ www.foursistersinacottage.com and I have a NEW LOOK I worked on for my front page. Have a look see if you can and you will see my FRONT RED DOOR to the Shop.
I am going to be out of blog land until Friday, only because I have a lot going on around here. I need to take care of some things so please bear with me.
I did get the ONE.....5 minute phone call from Kristi on Friday....let it just be said that it was the worst phone call I have ever had from my kids....between the sobbing and crying on her end, and the constant, "I'm so sorry Mom" comments.....it was all I could take from losing it. I won't go into details but I kept telling her to stay strong, went over some bible verses I sent along with her and told her to pray. That's all I could do....needless to say....it's been a weekend I won't soon forget.
I called her Dad to tell him, his first response was LAUGHTER and in between that he said, "Now she knows what it's like to be in prison".
You don't even want to know what I said after that. Needless to say, I will never speak to that pathetic excuse of a man again, I will leave messages on his answering machine when he is gone at work. I only called him because Kristi asked me to. As my Daddy always said, "You can't out stink a manure pile".....So, my nerves are shot, my brain is dead, and oh, I forgot to mention, THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED SINCE FRIDAY.....I am now OFFICIALLY A HOME SCHOOLING MOM!!!
LOVE and HUGS.... STAY STRONG and PERSEVERE, Amy

Hi Amy,bless your heart. I know what its like to be in pain when your child is hurting. I pray that God give Kristi the strength to endure the task, and that he will give you peace over the situation. I will certainly be praying for the both of you.
I am going over to check out your new goodies in the shop.
Your give away looks like some really fun things to play with. Please, count me in.

God bless!

Blessings, Shelley

Nuuuuuuuuuuu, the worst call you can get from your child (son, in this case) is, "Mom, have the police called you yet?") It involved a traffice accident. I told him to never ever start a conversation with his mother with the first words out of his mouth being "mom, have the police called you yet?" again!!!!

Sorry for your sadness, sweet little cherub, but you'll be soooo proud of her in a few years when she's back home. Personal experience!! LOL

Smooches,
Connie

Oooh Amy, that's the one thing I dont have enough to do really anything, so Please enter me into your giveaway. Will post on the other post about your problem. I just decorated for Halloween and Fall---going to moms to get some things they have there. Love and hugs, and rubbing my genie pot. Pat

Amy, our children make mistakes and if this is the only mistakes she makes, hug her, forgive her and ask her if she has learned a lesson.
As for your X, he does sound like a pathectic creature of a man.

We got one of the phone calls but it wasn't from our daughter, the principle of the school called to tell us that she vandalized their arch enemy school----how pathetic--they had only toilet papererd the trees and fences. Love and Hugs, Pat

Oh dear Amy -- know that many gals are right there with you (both for kids having a tough time with their choices and x's) Rest assured that Kristi is a tough cookie (like her mom!) and there is a reason some guys are the X. Your give-away is awesome, but your new home page is even more so. Hope by time you read this you will have had a good week and a chance to do a little something for yourself. Hugs to you and yours! Betty :)

Poor Amy! I don't talk to my ex...ever...never. He always manages to make me feel bad so I just don't do it.
As for Kristi. I'll pray that she stays strong through boot camp.

Amy,
Good idea, don't speak to the man again, and whenever he enters your thoughts, remove those thoughts and replace them with a image of Kristi coming home. Now, doesn't that sound better already? I know, easier to say than do, but worth a try. You don't need negativity in your life like that, it doesn't help in your goal of staying well. Lots of hugs. Jackie. PS If you draw my name by chance, please keep the goodies and give them to the first family who comes into your store, who you feel might need the "pick me up", or even better, keep them in your truck and the first child you see who might not be able to afford such pretty things, please offer them with love from us all. Keep well. Your friend from Calgary, Canada.

It's so hard growing up and having to live with ones choices. And, it's even harder being a mom. My heart goes out to you. Men just don't see things the same.

I would love to be entered in your drawing.
