~A MUST HAVE BOOK from a FRIEND & Pics of the GIRLS

I JUST GOT my AUTOGRAPHED COPY of Donna Cardwell's NEW BOOK called Silk Art Embroidery A Woman's History of Ornament & Empowerment

Due to copyright laws I can't put any pictures of the book on my blog....BUT TRUST ME, IT'S WORTH GETTING!!!! Donna has been a long time customer of mine and I had NO IDEA she was writing a book. Imagine my excitement when she told me about it and here's a crazy thing....Her BOOK CAME OUT ONE YEAR to the DATE of my FIRST CHEMOTHERAPY!!!! Those are 2 dates I will never forget.

Just click here to get YOUR AUTOGRAPHED COPY and PLEASE tell Donna you found out about her from my blog. Nothing in it for me, I would just like her to know I sent you. HAPPY WEEKEND!!!! THINGS are GETTING BETTER HERE, Uncle Duane is in Hospice now and I feel so much pressure off so I have been happily getting things ready for the website and reading Donna's Book, I can't put it down!!!!.....Lots of GOODIES coming SOON!!!!

Hugs and Love, Amy
(Ashley and Kristi stopped by this morning, Saturday July 19th, 2008 and I had to get some pictures of them with Maddi, I cannot believe I have 2 ADULT Girls....Where did the time go????)

I love the "sucking of the thumbs"!! I loved my thumb until I was a teenager. Am I divulging intimate secrets here or what?!?!?! :-) Yep, they grow way to fast. My kids are in their forties now and I'm only 39 so how can that happen???? Hmmmmmmmm????
;-)
Smoochies, my cottage chick,

Wow Amy,

Looking at the bottom photo of your girls and then the photo of your dad below that. Is it your mom with your dad? If so, I see an amazing resemblance between both girls and your parents. Your daughter in the left of the shot and your dad, and the daughter to the right and your mom? Just the image of each other. That is amazing!

Glad you are feeling well. Hugs to you.

Hi Amy,
Just stopped by to say hello & hope you are doing okay. Prayers for your uncle & always hugs & prayers for you sweet Amy. Your girls are pretty & look like you so much. You have a beautiful family. Wish I could come in person to visit your shop. It is looking so wonderful. You go the extra mile to make sure everything is just right. It shows in your pictures.

Hiya Amy! Ahh, your girls are just so cute! I love Maddi's toothless smile! You have a charming family and I'd be very proud of them, too.

The book sounds very interesting! What an accomplishment to write about such a subject.

Hugs to you and hope your Uncle Duane is doing better and adjusting.
