~WE ARE FLOODING~Worst than 1993 Floods

~WORST FLOODING than 1993~

HOW SAD....Linn County (my county) has just been declared a disaster area and a disaster emergency!!!! They have started evacuating PALO and others in the path of the Cedar River. Only ONE bridge remains open as they just closed the last of five of them this morning. Our smaller towns are surrounded by the flood waters and cannot even get in or out of town.

Check out this link Cedar Rapids Gazette for pictures of the floods. PLEASE PRAY FOR US and ALL OF THE FLOOD VICTIMS ALL AROUND US!!!! All my Love, Amy

I just saw the pictures and am wondering where are you from the closed bridges?? We live by the Little Sioux and it is really full but nothing like what you are going through. Please keep safe.

I will be praying for your county. We had some flooding when we more here in 98 but not as bad as these pictures. I sure hope everybody gets out.

I have heard about the flooding in the midwest, but to see the pictures of your area makes it soreal. I pray there isn't any loss of life and hope it will recede soon.

Amy dear, I have just also read about the tornado that hit the Boy Scout camp causing deaths and severe injuries, and now your account of the flooding just breaks my heart. So very sad. Please stay safe, and may all your family and friends get through this latest horrendous weather.
You are all in my prayers.

Love the new pic of you - your hair is gorgeous - your everything is gorgeous!! Way to go girl - and blessings to your uncle, who I know appreciates all you are doing to help him through this difficult time.

Hugs - Mary.

Oh, Amy,
I will continue to pray for you and your town. You have had quite a lot going on for the last couple of years. It's time for more good things to happen to you not a flood! Stay strong and sweet like you are and God bless you!

Amy, I have been so worried about you and your family. How close are you to the flooding and will you have to evacuate? Please send me an e-mail so Al can pay you for my plate. Prayers being said for all of you there. Just sounds so much like the levees breaking with Katrina. If you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask---I am there for you. Love you, Pat

Hi Amy,
You are the first one I thought of when I heard about Cedar Rapids. Having lived there, I can only imagine what it must look like. I hope that you and your family are okay. You are in our prayers.

Hugs,
