Anna, thank you so much. I have been so worried about her all day. I saw some pictures on the Today show before I left for work. I am so thankful she and her family are ok.

Hi Amy......... Tried to get you on the telephone this morning to see how you were but couldn't get an answer. Hope you and yours are fine. The boy scouts who died in the tornado here in northwest Iowa were only a little south of Sioux City and Sioux City is 75 miles from us. So sad. Take care dear friend. .....JAN MCGEE, PETERSON, IOWA

Update:

On the news here in Los Angeles about the devastating floods in Cedar Rapids, Iowa: The torrential rain is falling about 2 inches every hour, 119,000 people have been evacuated from their homes more to be evacuated and businesses ruined. It is unthinkable and totally unbelievable the natural craziness hitting Darlin Amy's town : (

Anna, thanks so much for letting us know about Amy. I did get an e-mail and knew what was happening and I have been praying for her family and all the others affected by this horrible flood.

Amy, I pray your house stays safe from the flood waters. You have been through so much and just didn't need this. My drs called me Murphy, because everything that could go wrong did, but I survived and that Rainbow will be beautiful for you. Going to try again to get to your paypal. Stay safe sweetie and will continue to pray for all of you. Love and Hugs, Pat

Hey Amy,
My family is over in Council Bluffs and although they aren't flooding right there....they've been dealing alot of tornado issues. My sister called me from the basement of the Westroads Shopping Center in Omaha to pray for them because she and her kids were evacuated there due to tornados all around them..they'd been shopping when the storms hit...little did she know at the time.....that the Boy Scout Camp at Little Sioux was being hit about then as well. I had turned on CNN and saw what was going on.
So sad.
Just wanted to let you know that I am praying for you all up there and keeping an eye on what's going on via my sister and the news....
Our hearts are with you all.

Thank you for letting us know that Amy and family are OK although unable to be in touch. I hope so much that her home is not affected - she doesn't need anymore bad things happening. Please let her know that Mary & Bob in North Carolina are praying for them all - we are saddened by this turn of events in Iowa.
Sending hugs -
Mary (ACROSS THE POND)
