~MY FAVORITE SHOP in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD~

POLLY ANN'S ANTIQUES and THE WHIMSICAL COTTAGE LOVE LOVE LOVE the PINK POLKA DOT FRONT DOOR
THE FRONT ROOM
A CORNER OF THE FRONT ROOM all done in LAVENDER
MAIN ROOM
WHAT A CUTE IDEA for those OLD LAUNDRY MAT CARTS!!!
POLLY IS SOOOOO CLEAVER and her shop is my very very favorite!!! I didn't even begin to take pictures of the whole place but you can get an idea of all her goodies. I can't ever go in there and not buy something. I got the coolest CLOTHES and BAGS Department Store Sign yesterday that I will be hanging up in my shop. I will get pictures of it soon.
My sale was a HUGE SUCCESS. I don't have a whole lot left so that makes me happy.
I am going to try to get all new treasures on the website and etsy this week however, my back is still bothering me, to the point the pain is so bad it is making me puke and so I go in this Friday for exploratory nerve damage and see if they can shoot medicine into my spine, hip and left leg to make it better. I am SCARRED TO DEATH to have those needles pushed into me but they are giving me an epidural first so I don't feel it. (That in itself is scaring me because I have never had one). So, I am praying hard that it works, and that I will feel like a real person again. Chemo did a number on my nerves and we just need to get it fixed.
Have a BEAUTIFUL WEEK...it's going to be WARM with SUNSHINE HERE IN IOWA!!!
Yippy Skippy!!!!
Hugs and Love, Amy

I had an epidural when I was in labor (I wound up having a C-section) and that will stop the pain while they do the rest. It was kind of a relief...Wow...no more pain. I too was puking. I hope it works that way for you! God bless you, Amy!

Hi Amy,

Wow, so glad your garage sale was such a success. Wish we lived closer - it sounds like soooo much fun!!

Don't worry about the epidural and all that stuff - look what you have overcome in the past. I had an epidural before when I was in labour and it was actually great, even asked the guy who gave it to me if he would marry me - in front of my husband - as it was pure bliss. No worries at all, it will be all over and done with before you know it. Think of what I always try to teach my children (when I think of it). Your brain can only hold one thought at a time, so when a bad or scary thought comes in, try and send it away with a good one! Think of all those pretty things in Polly's store, one by one and you should be more than occupied!! Hugs and great thoughts! Jackie - from the great white north!

Hi Amy! Hope I can help ease your worries a little... when I had the twins I got an epidural and IT ROCKED! :) It can make you feel a little nauseous but I just told them and they gave me something else that knocked that out too. Great stuff! I sure hope you can get some relief. I meant to bring the babies out to your sale this weekend but between naps, eating, and just plain being crabby, we didn't get there. Another time... Take care!

Oh! I want to go to that shop! I hope you've had the epidural by now and are feeling much better. Really, the thought of the epidural is much scarier than the epidural itself. You'll do fine!

Holy Moly! I'm on my way! You are making it very difficult for this California girl to stay and not catch the first train to Iowa!!!

I had an epideral for a sciatic nerve problem and it was no big deal. I'm going in again. Please take care and try not to worry. You'll be alright. I just know it!!!

Amy, I saw the name of your blog on another blog. I had to come visit since I'm one of four girls. Now I see you're in Iowa. What part of the state?? I'm in NW IA. I am so sorry to hear about your back. I've been there. I understand how bad you must feel. I ended up doing phyical therphy for about 6 months. It really did help. I hope you can get some relief. I love your favorite shop. The polka dotted door is just too cute!! Have a nice day! Terrie
