Hi Amy,
I will no longer complain about all the snow we have and the icy roads! {we are supposed to get 12 more inches tonight}

I pray for all those in the south whom are being affected but the horrible weather!
My heart goes out to them!

God Bless,
Dolly

Oh Amy, I too would much rather have snow. We are still getting rain here in Ohio and our basement was wet but that is nothing compared to the south. My sister-in-law texted me last night and asked me to pray for them. They were in the closet as tornadoes were all around them. One took out the university in Jackson, Tennessee. I will take snow anyday over flooding and tornadoes.

Hugs,
LeAnn

Your pictures tell an harrowing tale. Especially that first photo, with the sign on the railing. My thoughts are with all those being affected by this unbelievable weather.

On a happier note, please stop by my blog...I'm having a Pampered Package Giveaway.

We are in Ohio, and our creek has overflowed, but we can still get in and out of our driveway, thankfully! I'd rather have that pretty snow you're showing!
As for your sweet comment on my kitchen, you are welcome to come have tea with me anytime! What a pleasure that would be! :)

I'm not really sure if it is your Birthday today Amy - I have it marked for Feb. 20! Anyway, if it is, I'm sending huge Birthday wishes and hoping this year will be a wonderful, healthy, special, joyous and fantastic 365 days! If it's not today I'll wish it all over again for you when it does arrive!!

Throw some snowballs in this direction - 79 degrees today and we so desperately need rain! I'm sad for the folks who are getting too much - the country seems in such a strange weather pattern this Winter. Stay safe - with love.
Mary.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! I am coming out of lurking just to give you a big verbal hug!!!

Don't you just love the snow? I am living in Michigan, but miss the much bigger snowstorms we used to have when I was growing up in Wisconsin!

Wishing you well - and hoping you are continuing to heal!

Happy Birthday! I am visiting via Mary's blog. I do hope you had a wonderful day.

Yes, thank God for the snow. The schools were closed here in Ontario today and probably will be tomorrow. It's been icing and snowing ALL day, but we are truly blessed. I am praying for those who were hit with the tornadoes and also for the ones whose homes are flooded. Thank you for posting this.

Blessings,
Mary

Hello Amy, we heard about all that devastation, the sheer power of the weather that can just take your whole life away just like that.

On a lighter note that snow looks great - we never see snow here.

Oh and how fantastic for you that your hair is coming back and looks so great. It will get long again :0)

best wishes Ginny (in England)

Happy Birthday Sweet Amy.
That horrible weather system went north of us, but we were still under a watch. So much devastation---at least we can run from Hurricanes. I too would much rather be snowed in than wake up to my house being in splinters. Praying for all those effected by all these freak storms. May God comfort you. Love and Hugs, Pat

Yep - we got about the same amount of snow here too. I was so grateful, like you, that it was only snow. Those poor families that have been devestated by tornados! Praying with you for them... Polly (p.s. I emailed you back the other day but my email is a bit quirky so let me know if you didn't get it)

Isn't it terrible to know that our fellow Americans are having to go through such devastation? So sad!

AMY!!! These pictures look nothing like the ones I saw earlier this year of your front yard. Where is the corn field? Wowzers! It looks cold there!!!!!!
Brrrrrr...a shiver just crept down my back looking at these pics! Hate to tell you that it was sunny and 63 today at our cottage. Ahhhh..I am starting to thaw....
