~ANOTHER SNOW DAY~ My MRI~

~WAITING FOR A ROBIN TO SHOW UP~
Well, the kids have another snow day....we got hammered once again but thank goodness we didn't lose power. Some others in the area did 3600 households but not us!!! YEAH!!!
This means the kids will be going to school until June 5th....Wish they would stop the week long Spring Break, Thanksgiving, and Easter breaks. They would get out at the end of May if they only allowed a couple days during those breaks instead of a whole week off. Oh well, what can you do.
I am hoping to hear from my doctor today (if his office is open, everything is closed right now due to the snow storm) if not, I will hear tomorrow. I just want this pain to go away and yes, the medicine helps but it makes me higher than a kite and I fall asleep just sitting in the chair. (it's quite funny as I will be in mid sentence and I fall asleep....Everyone is laughing at me)
So, I will keep you updated. I am still waiting for my new computer and I so want to get those Easter Treasures on the website but this old computer won't let me load the pictures. So sad it's finally going and going fast.
Have a great day today and I will let you know as soon as I find out what's going on with my body now. Someone said the 40's are GREAT.....so far, mine have been far from great. They also say, what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. I should be a GLADIATOR by now!!! LOL
Hugs and Love, Amy

Morning, Amy! Our kids are off school for President's Day. We didn't get much from the storm, thankfully. Glad you didn't lose power. I just hate being without power during the day. In the evening hours it's kinda fun because we can get the candles out, light a fire, talk... Praying that you'll hear from the doc today... soon!! And that it's a simple fix. Blessings... Polly

A snow day? It's like spring in Texas. Of course with Texas weather we could have a snow day tomorrow! It changes that fast. Hope you stay warm and painfree today. And hope you hear good news from the dr. soon!

So sorry you are having back problems again Amy - hope so much all will soon be better for you.

The cold weather must be getting you down a bit so I'm sending warm hugs and a virtual bunch of golden daffodils from the garden!
Cheer up - Spring is coming and life will be great again.
Love, Mary.

Amy, not sure if you know but I have a tag for you and anyone else you know who is a survivor. I too spent the day at drs and hospital and will have to wait for test results---then next week, the "girls" get smashed into a vice. I just know that your MRI will be fine. I know what you mean about pain----hope you don't have to live forever with it like me. Just send it to me, I think I can handle just a tad more. The pain doesn't go away, but it's tolerable on most days. As you say "Yippy Skippy"---love it. Love ya, Pat

My husband always said that for him life at 40 began to hurt. He had knee and shoulder surgeries, plus bilateral hip replacement. He refers to his forties as the, "fat, forty and flatulent years". LOL

But, guess what?! At 62, he feels better than he has in years. He's
back to carrying a backpack and hiking.

You'll get back to feeling good, too, Amy.

So glad you got good news-cancer free!!! What a blessing!!! I read about your back pain and am just wondering if Lyrica could help...my mom is in the hospital for respiratory reasons (COPD) and developed a pinched nerve once she started physical therapy..pain meds did not work, but they started the drug called Lyrica (sp?) and she says it is wonderful. Hope they find something to help ...know they will, God did not bring you this far to let you suffer with back pain!!! -Sandra
