~A Vintage Tiara Crown~Surgery & My Mosaics~

~A VINTAGE ANTIQUE TIARA CROWN~SURGERY & MY MOSAICS~
Well, tomorrow is the 2nd phase of my breast cancer surgery. I am actually VERY SCARED....and it didn't help that on Friday the movie AWAKE came out and now they are talking about it all over the news. I have always been scared to be put under, I am afraid I won't wake up. So, please, if you find the time, say a prayer for me that I won't get all hysterical like I do and that I go thru the surgery with flying colors. I would love to come home tomorrow evening and not have to spend the night in the hospital so we will see. I am having my expander's taken out and having the saline implants put in along with having them build nipples. (I FEEL LIKE THE BIONIC WOMAN!!!) WE WILL BUILD YOUR BREASTS!!! LOL
The surgery will take 2 and a half hours and I have to be there at 6am in the morning. My surgery begins at 7:30am and goes until 10:00am. So there you have it. I will of course let you know how it all turns out.

THE ENTIRE PIECE HAS BEEN DONE BY HAND. EVEN THE HAIR BAND HAS BEEN HAND SEWN with OLD Millinery MATERIAL

~THERE ARE OVER 70 BIG PEARLS on the ENTIRE PIECE, Look at the GOLD Beads, just a STUNNING CROWN TIARA~

I will be putting it on eBay tonight for $9.99/No Reserve so everyone has a chance at winning it. It is the most STUNNING ONE I have ever seen...There are over 70 BIG PEARLS on it and I did 2 of the three pearl tests, (you know the one where you take the pearl and scratch it on a mirror, if it leaves marks with dust that can be wiped away, it's REAL PEARLS and of course the rubbing it against your teeth test too) the one I didn't do was to see if they melted with heat. I didn't want to ruin it. But, I still don't have a jewelers papers to say that they are real pearls so I don't know what to do. Anyways, it's will be there tonight, it's ALL HAND DONE, all hand beaded and has the old millinery buckrem on it. SOOOO PRETTY!!!

Well, I best get to setting everything up before I go in tomorrow. I am going to get MY MOSAICS ready to work on next to the sofa so hopefully I can finish some projects I started in April of 2006 before my Dad got sick and passed away. And I am hopefully going to be able to work on a sweet vintage white side table too, that my Mom just found for me. HAPPY NEW WEEK to ALL OF YOU!!!
All my Love, Amy

A SWEET FRIEND OF MINE named ANNIE B from www.TwinHeartsMosaic.com has the BEST STUFF for mosaics and you will want to check her place out. Be sure to tell her I sent you!!!

I WILL MAKE SURE TO SHOW YOU THE FINISHED PROJECTS....I MIGHT EVEN SELL THEM!!! I'm JUST HAPPY THAT I AM FEELING SO GOOD and that I KICKED CANCERS BUTT!!!! ~Amy~

Amy, I used to be the very same way about going under, but now I actually prefer it, because it's like getting a good nap while someone else does all the work!!
:)
I know that everything will be fine, but certainly will be thinking of you and praying for you, as always!!
(((((hugs)))))

Amy, I'll be thinking about you tomorrow! I'm sure you will do fine with the anesthesia. Just think, you're one step closer to being done with all of this stuff. Your mosaics are great. I can't believe you told me you weren't an artist. Yes you are!

Everytime I stop by and see a new post, I smile and have a sigh of happiness! Praise God for that butt kicking! And, Sweetie, don't let the devil play with your mind tonight. There are people all over the world praying for you so whether it's the middle of the night, tomorrow morning, tomorrow night or right this moment, someone in some time zone is praying for you! No fear! He has it all covered. When you sleep tonight.. when you sleep during the surgery... Someone will be praying at that exact moment. Let your mind be at rest. Blessings... Polly

Dear Amy,

God be with you girl!!! I ask that He will surround you in His arms, and hold you tight - so that everything will go well and quickly - and that you will be filled with peace, knowing everything is in His hands!!! I will be thinking of you and praying for you all day! God bless!

And I love your mosaics too! I have always wanted to try my hand at making them because my husband does pottery as a second job, and like just yesterday I retrieved something from the garbage he was throwing out for some unknown reason. I am sure they must be something I can do with all that left over pottery! But his pottery is mostly white, so it just seems odd to be putting white grout on it. Do you have a tutorial somewhere, like what kind of glue, grout to use? Anyway - some day I will try it!

But gentle hugs to you - hope we all hear from you soon, that all is well!

I just knew with your strong determination that you would be kicking butt! Yippy Skippy!!!!

Amy...I had my gall bladder removed in October and I was freaked out about going under but I came through just fine...my Son went under on Thurs to remove a large mole on his scalp...I was completely beside myself but I had to just leave it to the Lord and trust in Him....He will do the same for you. By now I am sure you are home resting...I wish you well....

Don't let that movie scare you! When I went on my first cruise last year that movie came out where a cruise ship went down, I think it was called The Posiedin Adventure? I was a lil nervous too! lol
I will be praying for you for sure!

Amy I continue to pray for you. I'm ashamed to admit that your name is printed on a yellow sticky note on the front of my computer to remind me. I'll say a special one regarding your surgery. I know the Lord will protect you and guide you through it...
