~LAST CHEMO TODAY~

~LAST CHEMO TODAY~WOW....it's finally here and I actually slept last night. Every chemo night before, I could never sleep. I think this time I was able to sleep because I see the finish line, I see the ribbon stretched across the road for me to break through.
Stay tuned for pictures of my chemo process and all those wonderful people who helped me at Dr. Ghosh's office at the Iowa Blood and Cancer Center. I don't know how they do it day after day.
Thank you Becky, from Sweet Cottage Dreams for the adorable stamp you made for me above and for letting me borrow the Tim Mcgraw song playing right now. What a fitting song for me!!! If you get a chance, check out her blog. She is one talented gal, and her house is AWESOME!!!
SEE YOU ALL ON THE FLIP SIDE.......
BIG HUGS and LOVE, Amy

I hope you had a good day today, buoyed with the knowledge that this is the last full chemo treatment (altho I know you are expecting daily dosages too). What amazing strength and courage! You have passed a major hurdle! Congratulations to you and your family!

Dear Amy - hope all went well this last time in for chemo - I know how you feel and I wish you only wonderful days ahead. If it's Tamoxifen you will be taking daily you will be OK - my Bob's been on it almost 5 years and has not had any really bad side effects. It's worth sticking with it, or whatever your doctors may prescribe, because it gives you that extra edge in beating this cancer. You know the fight will never be over, all we survivors of this disease have to stay positive in thought and deed, it's a battle we can all win - come join me, now an 18 year survivor!!
Yippy skippy Amy - rest up, be strong - remember how many people are pulling for you...and how many poeple need you to be there for them.
Love you. Mary.

By this time you read this you will be finished with those nasty chemo treatments. Can't wait to hear from you when you are feeling a bit stronger. Rest up and let us know how you are when you feel up to it.
