My PINK Painted Striped WALL

Well, I have to tell you.....awhile back while looking at Bella Mary's Home aka Isabellascloset, she had the BEST PINK STRIPED WALLS and, I WAS PINK with ENVY!!!!
I really wanted some PINK STRIPED WALLPAPER. Not able to find any...I took matters into my own hands. I went and bought some 1940's PINK PAINT and lots of PAINTERS TAPE and in a matter of an hour and a half...I had painted myself my PINK STRIPED WALL!!! And it only took ONE COAT, just like the paint can said!!!
I love this wall as it is in my "shop" part of the house. I have moved things around once again....Since our signature trademark "Is Because We Love Playing House" I have to...you know, PLAY HOUSE all the time!!! I get these brain storms and love doing this....so I am constantly playing house....

The picture below...it what it looks like right now....I have ANOTHER CLEAN SLATE to play house with and I will of course, show pictures of it when I am done. I found this darling (SIX and a HALF FOOT TALL Cupboard, already painted white, and with that adorable SCALLOP across the top), at one of my favorite shops. One thing I know for sure....it will be forever changing as the mood strikes me....OH I LOVE BEING A GIRL!!! ~Amy~

"oooooohhhhh" she exclaimed, clapping her hands in blogland with delight! That is soooo pretty, Amy! Well done! And the perfect shade of blush pink, too. That cupboard is screaming to be covered in collectibles now! =)

What an adorable cottage look the strips give your room. I really love the cupboard and can't wait to see the playthings you add to it.

So Amy - when do I get to come and see it? Looks like fun- can you help me do a wall in the shop? A friend just helped me do a wonderful pearl treatment on a ceiling at the shop - really fun and easy. Your site and your stuff (and you, of course) are beautiful as always!! Polly :0)
