~WHAT I GOT DONE since FRIDAY~

THIS IS THE COTTAGE CORNER (not finished yet, I have a bunch of vintage aprons I want to hang on the wall by the COTTAGE SIGN)...this is just what I got done today

HELLO EVERYONE.......Tons of pictures and a bit of descriptions, wanted to get this done and show it to all of you so you didn't think I fell off the face of the earth. LOL
THIS IS MY COTTAGE CORNER....THE DOOR THAT YOU SEE IS THE FRONT DOOR INTO THE SHOP (the other side, is a MESS as I am moving everything around again and got a new check out counter.....YIPPY (Friday I spend the day sanding and stripping a dresser, that I am using for my check out counter, stripped a darling vintage cupboard and started on a child size cupboard which ended up being a mistake) and a Red Cupboard Cubbie which also ended up being a mistake (they are both a mess and now I am going to have to figure out how to fix them....LOL)
Oh, and I got the GORGEOUS Wood Dresser/Mirror on the way home from picking up the truck (that was an $800 expense we were not expecting, the truck repair that is) at an estate sale that they were just putting out the sign. I worked hard on it today and got it all fixed up, glued and stained...IT TURNED OUT BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Bob and I went to Jill and Jeff's (My Best Friend) for the weekend (WHAT AN AWESOME WEEKEND WE HAD) and went boating on the Mississippi. We got home really late Sunday night as it was our first weekend in 18 weeks that we didn't have kids and he didn't have to work. We really needed that and I forgot how fun it was to sit in the sun and meet new people. (and to get away from the computer, shipping and packing)
So this is what I got done Friday and today, See, I really do work my butt off!!!! SURE FEELS GREAT TO FEEL GOOD AGAIN!!!! Enjoy the pictures....And coming soon, PICTURE'S OF MY HAIR....IT"S TO MY SHOULDERS!!!! WOW WEE!!! Everyone is so shocked how fast it is growing and I went against what I wanted to do and had to have a hair cut.....THAT MY FRIENDS, IS A COOL THING!!!!

~MY NEW CHECK OUT COUNTER, It was so bad and the drawer was missing, Bob added the wainscoting and I sanded it down to match the chippy worn original paint job, I have no idea what I would do without him, he is a KEEPER, that is for sure~

~CHILD SIZE STEP BACK CUPBOARD that I STARTED TO STRIP and ENDED UP IN A MESS, this was taken before I started UGH!!!!~

~OKAY, I got this cubbie cupboard a few years back, paid around $30 for it and and loved it, I thought I would give it a fresh coat of white paint but when I turned it upside down to put it on the table, I SAW PINK.....WELL, that's all it took for me, it took me over 6 hours to strip and sand it and I sanded so hard I broke the back off. LOL, Bob will put it back together and I will get the FINISHED pictures for you, AND it's the OLD 1930's PINK, ORIGINAL COLOR....Gonna have a hard time selling this one.....

~SEE THAT DARLING PINK PAINT PEEKING THROUGH???? That's it, that's all it took and I was hooked into getting all the other coats of paint off this darling piece~

~ALL THOSE LAYERS OF PAINT, IT'S AMAZING what PINK will DO TO A GIRL, And I am getting even more linens ready for the shop too, of course this is all going to be on the website, I just have to get the shop ready to go by 11am tomorrow when I open~

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR THOUGHTS and PRAYERS....You have no idea how much we appreciated it!!!!

~KRISTI's SURGERY TUES APRIL 14th!~ IN A MOVIE with RICKY SCHRODER~

~PLEASE PRAY FOR KRISTI for her EARLY AM SURGERY TOMORROW~

I am sick to my stomach for not being there for her during her first surgery ever. I am a nervous wreak and am so regretting not going. I don't know if anyone knows how that feels. So many miles away and so helpless. I am mad at myself for not telling everyone else I HAVE TO DO THIS, it's too late now!!!!

She MADE IT THROUGH, she showed GUTS, COURAGE, STRENGTH and they let her go ahead and continue through all of the training and graduate. She has surgery first thing tomorrow morning to more or less replace her knee.....it's pretty bad and I pray they will be able to fix it. She will miss her Graduation Ceremonies, as they are tomorrow too!!!!

On the positive note, SHE IS GOING TO BE IN A MOVIE WITH RICKY SCHRODER!!!

Remember Silver Spoons and NYPD BLUE???? Yep, there they are, in their military uniform. It will be a type of reality show/movie, from the producers of Deadliest Catch. I will of course, let you know more as I find out more from her. So in the meantime, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take a moment and pray for her.

I am beside myself with guilt!!!!

~FREE Irish Spring Body Soap~10 cent HANNA MONTANA Candy~WAGS & CVS Today~

~WHOO WHOOO!!!! FREE IRISH SPRING BODY SOAP~ I bought the IRISH SPRING Body Wash at WALGREEN'S on sale for $4.49 and got a print out coupon at the register for another bottle free. (DO NOT BUY THE BOTTLES MARKED NEW on the front)

So, I tied up my bag and walked back to the isle and got another one with the coupon for FREE......then it printed out another coupon for another free one.

I got the GARNIER for .99 cents, using the $2.00 off coupon in the rewards book at the front of the store.

And the deodorant for hubby was clearance for $2.29. (I had no coupons for that or the body wash, darn it) I will go back tomorrow as I didn't want to push my luck. Above is a picture of what the print out looks like and the bottle you purchase.

I saved $10.19 on all the stuff pictured above!!! Not to bad, and I have ANOTHER FREE BOTTLE COMING!!! Worth up to $4.99!!!!

CVS HAS clearances on all of their HANNA MONTANA CANDY for 10 cents!!!! The girls LOVE IT!!!! Located in the back row by the dish soap and laundry stuff. RING POPS, GUMMY GUITARS and GUM GUITARS!!!! They want me to go back and get more...LOL
My CVS RUN today!!!! ALL THIS for $19.62 (tax included) AND I GOT BACK $17.00 in CVS BUCKS to use later!!!! (to me, that's like getting it all for $2.62)
WHOOOO HOOO!!! TOTALLY A HUGE HAUL!!!! I saved $60.54 with coupons and sales!!!!

Now, I just have to figure out how to get coupons for grocery shopping. That might be tough!!!!

As of Monday, she will no longer be active military and will be in a holding pattern. SHE IS SO UPSET and has called 3 nights in a row crying. Basically, she will be sitting there with kids that DO NOT want to be in the Army, kids that tested positive for drugs and others. Please, if you have a minute, add her to your prayers. I keep telling her it could be worst, much worst, and that God has plans for her. Just right now, they aren't for her to finish her Army training.

~2 trips with coupons SAVED $96.87~ Just a quick look at one of my receipts. After the sales and coupons, I got everything shown above for only $5.34 (tax included) Never pay more than .30 cents for toothpaste again. The one above I got for .24 cents. Saved $15.83 with coupons.
I am now loving WALGREENS and CVS!!!!

Everything pictured above, I paid $15.76 for. AND THEY PAID ME .75 cents TO TAKE THE TOOTHPASTE!!! Saved $25.04 plus $3.50 Bucks back to use on my next Walgreens purchase.

SUNDAY PAPER had $5.00 off ANY BAG of IAMS Kitten or Puppy Food. WALMART has IMAS 4 pounds for $7.98 - the $5.00 coupon = $2.98 a bag. That is LESS than the WALMART BRAND or GENERIC and their bag is only 3.5 pounds!!!! I had a coupon for EVERYTHING except the eggs and the Diet Coke!!!!
